Conversation Guide

Thisweek, Pastor Tracy Boyd continued our Mountain Move series, reminding us that prayer is not just about asking God to act, but partnering with Him to see His will done on earth.

Main Scriptures

Matthew 6:9–10
Psalm 24
Ephesians 2:6

1. Our Position Matters

We are raised up and seated with Christ. Seated means authority. Prayer flows from identity, not effort.

2. God’s Pattern for Prayer

God gave a clear pattern for approaching Him — thanksgiving, the Word, the Holy Spirit, worship, and His presence.

3. From Intercession to Agreement

Intercession brings needs to God. Legislative prayer agrees with what God has already spoken.

4. Lift Up Your Heads, O You Gates

Psalm 24 reminds us that God’s people are gates. Gates carry authority and influence.

5. Sonship Changes How We Pray

Jesus taught us not to worry because sons and daughters trust their Father.

Talk About It

• What stood out to you most from this weekend’s message?

• Was there a phrase or Scripture that stayed with you?

• How might God be inviting you to respond this week?

Prayer Focus

Thank God for access as sons and daughters. Ask for alignment with His will. Pray for your group, church, and city.

God invites us to partner with Him — not striving, but trusting.
