We closed out our I’m Not Okay That series by hearing from six of Grow Church’s up and coming communicators; and while each communicator spoke on a different topic, they all pointed back to one overall theme – everyone is worthy of God’s love. Together, these six speakers established that no matter who you are or where you are, everyone is qualified by God.
Here’s what each speaker had to say:
Preston Lasala – Praising God even when we don’t feel like it removes weakness from our faith walk.
Talie Nordilus – Justice belongs to the Lord and we have the opportunity to model justice for the world.
Samuel Muhumuza – The miracles of God are motion-activated. Reading the word, believing the word and acting on the word gives us a child-like faith to stand up and see what God can do.
JC Mancera – When we’re faced with insecurities, we must remember it’s not what we think, but what God knows and what His word says.
Alexa Boyd – Religion convinces us we get what we deserve, but relationship with God says we get what Jesus deserves.
Daniel Barel – Being unashamed of Jesus gives God the opportunity to reveal Himself through our broken situations.
