Big Idea

God created us in His own image and likeness so our lives would be nothing less than a reflection of His divine nature and holiness (Genesis 1:26).? Even though we live in a world plagued?with lifestyles of shame, condemnation, lack, anxiety, and bondage, the truth remains that we have escaped the world?s corruption; Because of God?s goodness and glory, we have been granted participation in His divine nature through His very great and precious promises. (2 Peter 1:3,4)

God’s heart is forever passionate about witnessing all of His children experience a life far beyond anything we could imagine. Yet, our struggle remains in the tension of what the world deems as normal and what the Word of God deems as possible.?

We begin to walk according to God’s divine nature, sharing in His precious promises, when we abide in His presence and allow His Word to abide in us. When we dig into God’s Word, the change within our spirits and souls becomes permanent, granting us the power and ability to truly be as Jesus is in this world. (1 John 4:17).

Prayer Focus

Thank you, Jesus, that you have made the way for me to participate in Your divine nature and be just as you are in this world.?God, help me to see the areas where I have settled for the world?s standards and instead walk in all you have deemed possible.?Holy Spirit, help me to seek the promises of God daily in Your Word, and to live them out in the world by Your power.
