Human Resources Coordinator


Human Resources: To serve Grow Church by administering and processing all of Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits in order to increase staff engagement, meet the needs of the staff and help maximize the efficiency of the organization.

Human Resource Responsibilities:

  • Forming and maintaining employee records, including overseeing the onboarding, offboarding of employees, posting ads for hire and interviewing candidates
  • Updating databases internally, such as all PTO and other benefits that require tracking
  • Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance, including liaise with insurance vendors and legal compliance
  • Processing payroll, management of employee data, ensuring accuracy of timesheets, computing wages and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, preparing and issuing earning statements
  • Responsible for directing and planning the operations of group benefits, including handling all benefit compensations, reimbursement procedures, and advisement in options, timely review and payment of monthly premiums, coordinate leaves of absence and process claims or requests, manage enrollment and determine employee eligibility
  • Maintain the organization chart, job descriptions, and annual reviews
  • Keep abreast of new concepts, always looking to improve processes and objectives

Other Responsibilites:

  • Manage insurance for WC, General, Auto, Umbrella, Property, etc.
  • Oversee the ministerial and ordination applications, renewals and housing allowance forms
  • Manage internal agreements and send out for renewals each year
  • Submit annual Sunbiz reports
  • Request and send out board meeting minutes for signatures
  • Keep legal folder up to date
