Seeing Christ’s Return reminds us that our view of Jesus’ return shapes how we live today. Rather than producing fear or speculation, the promise of Christ’s return should fill believers with joyful anticipation, faithful stewardship, and a desire to live each day through a biblical worldview as we prepare for eternity.

Unpacking the Message
Pastor Tracy taught that every person views the world through a lens. A biblical worldview is shaped by God’s truth, while a secular worldview is shaped by culture and personal opinion. One of the greatest tests of our worldview is how we view Christ’s return. The Bible presents Jesus’ return not as something believers should fear, but as the joyful anticipation of a bride waiting for her bridegroom. Just as a Jewish bride prepared herself while waiting for her groom, believers are called to live ready—not by predicting dates, but by faithfully following Jesus every day.
The message emphasized that living ready means watching expectantly, keeping our love for Jesus burning brightly, and remaining faithful in the work He has entrusted to us. Pastor Tracy reminded us that this life is preparation for eternity. The gifts, opportunities, relationships, and resources God has given us are all part of our stewardship, and one day we will give an account for how we used them for His Kingdom. Rather than focusing on fear about the end times, believers are called to invest in what lasts forever, knowing that faithfulness today prepares us for greater responsibility in the life to come.

Application
This week, intentionally evaluate how you’re investing your time, gifts, and resources. Ask God to reveal any areas where your priorities have become more focused on temporary things than eternal ones. Commit to one practical step that demonstrates faithful stewardship—whether serving someone, sharing your faith, growing in discipleship, or deepening your relationship with Christ—so you’ll be found faithfully living ready whenever He returns.
Group Prayer
Father, thank You for the promise that Jesus is coming again. Help us to see the world through the truth of Your Word and to live each day with joyful anticipation of His return. Keep our love for You burning brightly, strengthen us to remain faithful in what You have entrusted to us, and teach us to invest our lives in what will last forever.
